Is that the Lebedev who was George Osborn's boss and more recently Cameron's sister-in-law's boss. They all hate Boris, so what to make of the allegation?

Not quite, it is Evgeny Lebedev's father, a former KGB agent and close ally of Putin. Utterly scandalous - should be enough on its own to bring him down. All of it has been known for years but nothing done about it - the question is, why not?

But nonetheless, Lebedev Jnr is now part of the UK establishment. Anyway, KGB etc, it's more like Profumo than flippin Partygate..
