Plenty of positives

Only saving grace is we played a team that is expected to go straight back up. We matched them for most of the game, but again can't see a game off / fail to take advantage when we are on top.

Too many individual errors costing us, players switching off.

F*cking frustrating doesn't even start to describe things 😤😤😤

I’d like to stick with roberts but Hel probably be benched once steffen is fit atlest he’s had a taste . I’d be just glad to play a settled back 3 and keep a clean sheet

Yep for me Watford are the team to keep touching distance with, stay within 10 points of them, easier said than done I know & you wont be to far away from going up automatically, certainly in the playoffs

On anogher night Clarke, who had an excellent game for me, would have got a couple

We played well in patches, but the issue is, have we got the fight, belief & players in our team to do that, not to sure

Sick of reading about how results aren't bad because they are against teams that will be at the top come the end of the season. If we have any hopes of being up there then these games are more important, not less. Nobody gets promoted by getting beat by all their rivals.

The very fine margins by which we lost tonight are being addressed as we speak.. by using a sledgehammer to crack an egg approach!

Defensive midfielder - covers Howson and keeps McNair in his best position.

Attacking midfielder - takes the pressure off McGree and Crooks as well as giving us more options.

Striker - another body to fire crosses in to another striker to pass to, to bounce off. Increased threat!

Roberts looks potentially good enough to be our No.1 when Stefen goes back to City at the end of the season. I guess we thought it was too much of a gamble for this season.

I’m not sure on Roberts - shot for the first was in the corner but not much power behind it. Seemed to get down a bit slow, it wasn’t out of reach because it went under his arm 🧐 the shocking defending before that was the main problem mind

It's been a bizarre start to the season really. We've had some encouraging performances but there's no getting away from the fact, 6 points from a possible 21 represents a poor start.

I'm still hopeful we are now going to have a settled team and will start finding some consistency with regards to results. I'd say the team we had out last night is our best team on paper, although you can make the argument that we'll be better off having two strikers up front from now on.

Box-to-box we are great, just need a bit of a rocket up their arris at either end of the pitch. Should have had 3 tonight, should have let 3 in too

agreed on the settled thing. I think getting a settled defence is important and will happen now, injuries permitting. Lenihan seemed in pain

Season over again.
7 points from an auto slot and a flirt with the play offs at best again
2 points from the drop zone with teams below us having games in hand.
Yes "we'll be fine "

Sickerner at the end and abit naive defending again but...

Away to a top team who have players that are premier league and we gave as good as we got and played really well for the most part

Giles excellent
Muniz great
Goal keeper looks good.

We will be fine
Same as last season
Fcuking sick in the stomach of our soft underbelly players but I blame the manager
Never been the same since the Burnley potential walk away
The players aren’t busting a gut for him
Plain to see.

Playing some great football in spells down the left-hand side.

Not really sure about where Forss fits in. If Surridge comes in with Akpom and Muniz apparently in Wilder's plans, I wonder a bit why he was signed when we have signed Hoppe, too. We'll see.

Lenihan's injury should mean Fry isn't sold. That's good news. I also think Mowatt will come good. He's been returning from injury since the summer and won't be at his best yet.
