Playing Effective Football - The Wilder Way

Chris Wilder held his first pre match press conference today and laid out his mantra that his Middlesbrough team would play effective football. No pigeon-holing but whichever way it takes to win.
Gone were the zoom meetings as Chris Wilder waved in a new era by holding his first pre-match media conference in person at the Rockcliffe Park training ground. There were track and trace precautions for all attending media but Chris Wilder put everyone at ease by shaking hands, if we were comfortable doing so.

Can anyone attend these conferences? I've always wanted to ask questions.

Or is it just for the Press and football forum owners?

Just press, tv, radio. I suppose I am the anomaly but I think from doing the website for 20 years and the fanzine 30 years I qualify

Thats fair enough, are you allowed to ask questions or are you just an observer?
If you can ask questions, maybe we could contribute. Put a thread out for questions to be asked at the press conferences, and the most popular or such can be used.
You could be the voice of FMTTM, rather than your own voice.
Only a suggestion.

I asked questions at the press conference at the end. On the Broadcast - but also I transcribed one of the answers on here..

Effective Football

I did sometimes in the past ask people on here for questions - it is a good idea. I stopped when covid meant it was all more restricted. You do have to remember I go last so often the questions you might want answering have been already tackled. I am unavailable now for a couple of weeks so won't be going to any more press conferences til mid December. Also I don't go to post games conferences as I sit in the stand not the press box for games.
