Agree with everyone who’s been named here. Gakpo’s probably been the best for me over Ruiz, Mendes, Yamal, Turkish LB, can add the Georgia keeper too.

Funny, it’s hard to pick. Normally in a tournament there’s some young players who make their name and become superstars.

This tournament has been the opposite, it’s been more about the superstars with big reputations not performing.

A lot of the narrative is written from the semi finals onwards too.

Another vote for Saliba.

France have been terrible, going forward, but defensively, they've been very good and this lad in particular, has been incredible.

Still a lot can change with the next 2 rounds. But so far:

If Spain win it - Williams, Ruiz, Rodri or Yamal
If England win it - Guehi, Jude or Saka....Jude hasn't actually been that great, but he's turned up in the biggest moments for us. That goal v Slovakia could prove to be absolutely huge.
If France win it - Saliba
If Netherlands win it - VVD.

Hernedez has been excellent as well. Defenders seem to be out performing attackers so far
