Pitch Invaders

I was sat right at front of north stand and those imbeciles came off the pitch near us. My 9 year old son spoke more about these two tw@ts on the way home from the game than the football. Said all the kids at school will be talking about them. I think he was a bit scared as they were dragged past us by the bloke apparently off duty police. As he was kicking off trying to struggle free etc.

Sad that this is what he's taken from the game 😔

Why cant we just have private security firm use tasers? Or release dogs?

On a serious note, they should be put on front page of the Boro website and Gazette. They might see that as a badge of honour, but everyone who knows them who is a decent person will know exactly who there are, what they've done and their neighbours, friends family colleagues some of them will be good honest people who deserve to know about these clowns. They should be banned for life, photos sent to every league and non-league club or placed on some kind of football banning register to stop them turning up at Stockton Town and stop them coaching in the TJFA or even going to watch TJFA games etc take a proper hard line. If you enter the pitch, you're banned from every aspect of football in this country.

OK it's not 1970, but why all the outrage?

Ignoring the potential danger to players, I pay to watch a game of football, not watch some drunk chavs jump on the pitch and act like clowns in the middle of the game.

The club and EFL couldn't have been clearer about the fact that it's not allowed and that those that do it will be punished.

It's pathetic attention seeking behaviour from them and I hope they're banned for good.

Imagine there was going to be 3mins added time, idiots run about for 2 mins, and Birmingham score in 95'

Should be a proper protocol now up and down the land, whereby you go on the pitch and you're blanket banned from every aspect of football in the country, for 3,5,10 year whatever but should just be set in stone.

Jail them. That is the only option in my eyes. Young Offenders or Adults jail. Impossible to stop pitch invaders as no one can know who or when someone will do it so the punishments need to be harsh. Fines are no good, most of them probably wouldn't even pay it. Likewise life bans are pretty pointless. You see plenty of lads at the match who are supposedly banned, so easy not to be spotted.

A thread about pitch invaders (illegal, could have impacted the result, possibly fine for the club) and you choose to call the young lad enjoying himself the sad person. Strange.
I'm just commenting on a post (as I have several others).

The post is there to be commented on, all I said was I find it a strange thing to do, no harm in that.

short jail sentences do society no favours unfortunately. people often come out with either links to criminals or drug habits, but that's a different discussion really. im not sure what the answer is, but there needs to be better enforcement of football bans
