I’m uneasy about the concept of “our girls”. Even if we take a definite side in this conflict, which the government has, they are not in any meaningful sense the responsibility of the UK government, or the UK government’s “girls”. I think the language is only appropriate for British civilian hostages.

Once the US puts boots on the ground they will not leave. I'm sure their putting more of their troops in the area will work out just fine.

I think she is a deviant of the highest order. It really worries me that she will gain the Tory leadership and slime her way to the top because she is a divisive figure and this picture tells us everything we need to know about this sociopath.

I suspect a number of them are no longer alive and the Israelis know this hence they are asking for names as a precondition to cease fire talks.
