If I could think of one thing to describe Pears it wouldn’t be commanding.

Pears is another Steele for me. Oh for a Randolph or similar!

Randolph was a fantastic shot stopper(one of the best I have seen) but he wasn't great at crosses or commanding his box. His distribution was crap as well. That's probably why he will never be no. 1 in Premier League.

The thing which frustrated me about Randolph is he never released the ball quickly enough. There would be times where he'd collect the ball and somebody would be in acres of space asking for it and he'd ingnore them.

if he wont agree a contract they he should go , maybe he wants to run his contract down here and not go....
