Big footsteps to follow, his dad had only turned 22 when he signed on loan for his 1st spell at the Boro
I think we'll see Meijas released before too long and Pears will be sold to someone like Blackburn. He decent enough as a back up but we do need a proper number 1.
I'd go for John Ruddy at Wolves, if he wants some game time before he retires, although he is only 33, which isn't that old for a keeper.
Agree re Sol Brynn though. I think he's highly rated we'll see him as number 3 this season, maybe on the bench in the odd game and cup games.
I rate Pears over Stojanovic.
You can't write a keeper off at 22 and considering he has been through the academy deserves more time to show his maturity... I can't imagine he is on big wages.
Agree with that.He only has a year left on his deal. If we aren’t planning on offering him a new contract or if he has turned down a new deal then we are best getting a fee for him while we can. Certainly looks that one of them is the case if we are offering him around. I see Stoj as more a no 2 than Pears but all about opnions
Warnock did make a comment about players on the final year of their contract..I think we'll see Meijas released before too long and Pears will be sold to someone like Blackburn. He decent enough as a back up but we do need a proper number 1.

Am very disappointed that a young keeper that seemed to have real potential will be on his way.
I thought he looked very commanding through so many games last season after winning his place on merit through pre season.
