He clearly doesn’t want to be here, struggled to settle so an extra year back home won’t have changed things. Real shame if it doesn’t work and I hope it doesn’t put us off these type of signings in the future

If he does come back he must improve. He is coming into a good environment with a great young coach and an attacking team. His first target is to settle in, learn English and enjoy himself. If he does that and can stay fit we wont need the likes of Ross Barkley. Howson, Hackney, Barlaser and Payero would be a strong midfield!

It's only small but on his Instagram on his bio it just says Boca, usually with loan players they put both the parent club and the loan club, like Ramsey, Archer etc they all had Villa and Boro. To me it doesn't seem like he wants to be at Boro, one of his posts for example on Instagram is him kissing the Boca shirt.

This is Wilder's doing mainly and we know how he wanted to deal with Akpom and we know how he thought the world of Connolly .
Payero , club project, 3.2m initial investment , extras up to 6m if it all worked out. NW was asked to work with him , NW obliges and starts to find out about him and see what he can do (he gets no pre season or intro into the club or community) , and he played a big part in 5 of NW's last 6 games. Instantly dropped by CW onfirst outing for 10 successive games and gets 33 min in a league and 41 min against Man Utd cup only as we needed legs for extra time.
Obv the later QPR injury did for his season but I only assume that that helped out CW as he wasn't looking to pick him anyway. So, come close season CW obv says he has no interest in working with him, hence the loan home, of course he was homsesick he was on treatment table for 10 weeks with prob no mates to interact with.
It's all shxt. CW can f. off on this one. Didn't want to have patience with a young foreign player, judged him on his English abiliteh only. I trust Carrick to have a look at him for all of pre-season then make a decision.

I hope he returns. Surely Carrick is a good manager for a Centre Midfielder to develop. We could just do with bringing in another Spanish & English speaker to settle him in. Would Stuani Ramirez etc have done well in isolation... I think not.
