If it’s true and he was injured again today it’s becoming a bit of a worry that the lad is turning into a perma crock for us. I wouldn’t be against loaning him out to be honest if this theme is going to keep recurring and replacing him with someone who can actually push crooks in that position and be available
 
We need to off load him ASAP the season is just around the corner. Injured how ?and where did that occur?
 
I personally wouldn't be against selling him, he wouldn't get in the team over crooks, Tav, mcgree, howson .. he isn't going to get a proper run in the team unless we have a few long term injuries
 
Players get injured all the time. Why didn't Wilder give a proper update. Is it a niggle is it more serious. If it is we won't be selling to anyone.

Some players get injured a lot more than others. Payero’s record so far for us has been poor.

You have to admit it’s a disappointment he’s out for the first game of pre season with an injury after his injury struggles last season. It’s starting to become a concern now

It is not just one game is it. How many games was he available last season ? So many excuses why he did not figure in the team. get rid.

It is but all this get him out asap is frankly ridiculous.

It’s pre season players get knocks in pre season training especially in the opening weeks so let’s see how it goes.

Pre season knocks! give it a rest, mid season knocks, end of season knocks. He cannot play two games on the trot.

Plenty as he was on the bench or warning up but warnock didn’t pick him instead opting to promote his T star we’ve just offloaded to jock football.

Warnock had it in for him from day 1.
 
Early doors yet — plenty of time in preseason to get him into the process, although it’s not a good start or a good message (again) to report he’s crocked.
 
In fairness to Payero he wasn't injured and unavailable for the run-in last season, Wilder just chose not to play him and wouldn't even give him a cameo off the bench.

It's a strange one because Wilder has said he is part of his plans. Hopefully he will genuinely have just taken a knock and will be able to feature pre-season.

Could there be a reason for that though? Mentality, fear of picking up another knock? It does make you wonder.
