Thought he played well tonight. Good on the ball. Kept it simple but you can see he has good vision. His delivery from set pieces is excellent. Also he's very strong and can hold players off with ease. Should have had another assist (Watmore's howler). Promising signs, well done Martin lad.

You can see that he’s finding a lot more time on the ball now and not rushing it like he might have done earlier in the season. He can more than hold his own when on the ball and loves to win it back. Wish he’d scored with that shot!

Yes, I’d give him a 7 (just) as he could’ve been even more penetrating with some of his passes which were cut out but overall he looks like a player now

Payero is looking good, I just wish Tav would look up more and stop being so selfish when he's cutting in.

His reading of the game has certainly improved and he seems intelligent enough to find space in midfield. Resulted in him having more time on the ball tonight.

I think a front three of Payero, Sporar and Watmore will cause plenty of problems in this division.

A big shout to Watmore (his miss aside) how much ground does that lad cover, he never stops running & chasing defenders down, considering the career injuries he's had & come back from he's still got some pace

Really was impressed by how he picked his head up after that miss and managed to give it another extra 10%. Didn’t let it get to him.

He was pretty good tonight in patches and is improving. As I said, he clearly needed time because he was miles off and is now getting there. Drip feeding him seems to be paying off but it’s still early days.

PAyero has got the best passing success at the club 84% he just needs to start to get involved a little more, it'll come as he learns to read the english game better
