Paul Weller at the Globe, 13 April.

Depends on the show. At QOTSA gig the first band was on when we got in so assume they came on about half seven. Venue brought stage times forward on the day of the show after everyone probably had their meet up plans arranged.

I hope there’s no fisticuffs unlike last night at Soul II Soul.
Drunken women start arguing, next minute their partners are brawling.

Heard a few people who I trust and who like music say the sound is not what it should be, but have not yet been so that is to be taken with a pinch of salt. However if it is the room and not the engineering it needs fixing and quick or the venue will get a bad rep and die.

Seeen Weller multiple times (probably 10+) and whilst he's always great, the experience for me is always spoiled by lairy late 50's blokes iwith feather cuts, Adidas Samba, Fred Perry and Stone Island who think it's still 1979 and want it to be a Jam concert and they be a teenager again.

I'll probably go and see this tour, but get a little bored of the Wellends, especially when it comes to him playing TSC who are probably my favourite band of all time and they shout and talk all the way through it until he does another Jam number.

Also off to see Suede and MSP, both of whom I've seen a few times and both always put on a good show too.
