Patrick Roberts isn't happing......

The trouble with Roberts he was ball greedy but a good manager should be able to adapt him if he’s will to listen . Maybe his wages rule him out based in warnock ps transfer budget considering who else he wants to bring in .

Agree with this and have said similar myself on other threads. For example I still think Bola is worth giving another go as I don't think Woody's tactics helped him as he was often left with 2 v 1 and didn't know whether to stick or twist.
 
Tend to think at the end of the window we will be solid if unspectacular.
More balance but still not refined enough to play the way Warnock ideally would like to.
Just my feeling.
 
I’m not sure Roberts did enough for me to be too disappointed.

I would have been happy to have him but not that bothered if he’s not coming.

Im not at all convinced about players on loan from big clubs, very few seem to do the business for us.
 
To be fair to him he suffered with a bad injury but was keen to rehabilitate with us rather than go back to City.
He's different and excites people, we are sadly lacking in those type of players, not sure if we have any?

Forgot all about Fabbrini apparently plays for Dinamo Bucherest. Isn't that who Meijas has gone to?
 
There's plenty of potential loans from premier clubs. I would like to see someone like jack clarke ex leeds now at spurs who cant get in their first team
 
Give Roberts a run of games a d some fitness and you'll see a vastly improved player.

If he keeps himself fit he will be a huge player for us this season.
 
Haha sorry fellas, it honestly wasn’t intentional. I just remembered the thread and it looks like the point about Warnock saying what he said as smoke and mirrors to get him before the deadline may have been right. TBF to Roberts he was always going to look around at what else was on offer.
