Word is he's avaliable for transfer and clubs are already interested.
Would you like to see him return or is he past his best now?
I think its time to move on and get younger, hungrier players like cam archer or similar

Past his best now. Call me petty as well but I've never forgotten him celebrating as if he'd scored the winning goal in a cup final when we last played them at Elland Road.
I'm with you on that, I do understand scoring against an ex club, it's your job. But that celebration against the team that saved him from obscurity after 3 shocking loans and fans that always were behind him no matter what was just poor.
He couldn't have spat more in our face if he tried.

Yeah, I get he probably wasn't a big Pulis fan but Pulis wasn't our manager at that time, and he had no reason to feel bitter towards the club.

Thought he seemed a canny lad when he was here but his actions vs Villa that time when he got their player sent off was really poor. Showed that he's obviously got a nasty streak in him.

Not for me. His injury record is a massive issue. Also couldn't hit a barn door last season. One of the reasons they went down (according to Leeds fans).

He may just need a new challenge. Yet injuries are still the issue.

I also doubt we could remotely afford him. They would want millions and I imagine he's on 30-50k a week.

Brilliant player but Injury record is a massive concern and we can't really afford to take any chances in the Championship l, if we'd have gone up it might have been different 👍

I disagree with the celebration thing. Players should celebrate against us, and vice versa, unless you’re at Juninho levels of adoration. It’s a relatively new thing for some 21 year old whose barely had a career to refuse to celebrate against a club he played 3 games on loan at 3 seasons earlier. It makes me cringe. Sorry, just my opinion.

I’d have Bamford back tbh. Definitely not too old and has a lot of natural ability and versatility across the front 4. The best days of his career could yet be ahead of him. Or he could just be a useful squad player who isn’t always fit. We need some depth upfront though, and I imagine he’d be the sort of lad who could be realistic about wages and where his career is at.

PS. He always spoke very highly of Pulis after leaving.

I agree with that.
Although I think Denis Law scoring for Man City against Man Utd to relegate them in 74 is the first famous example. A half hearted back heel I think it was.
That was probably justified.

Is it possible to half-like a post (like the first bit)?

If he was fairly cheap, absolutely. Could link up brilliantly with Akpom.

Though totally understand the fear that he may just be past his best now.

If we keep Akpom and can't get Archer back, then Bamford would be excellent, and be a great spearhead for Akpom, Ramsey and Diallo.
However if Akpom is to go, the Bamford has the ability to play that role too, behind Archer.
