I will give you credit remembering the 30's to the 70's but forgetting Labour were hardly in power and there had been a world war in that period. my memory only goes as far back as the mid 60's.

That's the sort of incisive, well crafted and carefully thought out response that makes this site a hot bed of debate.

I'm not sure rationing is the antidote to neoliberalism but it does seem that those places in the world that don't live in a consumer driven economy wish they did.

At least you might have debated for a while before resorting to insults.

Interestingly I read the 2017 labour manifesto last night, O K the bullet points. Nothing I disagreed with it's why I vote Labour. Unfortunately it was all about the presentation, the disloyalty to Labour governments and his distrust of the British military that did for him .

I also have a copy of the Mao's red book, but it's in Chinese and I cannot understand it. I bought it in Beijing nice place but never want to go back.

It reminded me of the 60's.
