Correlation does not imply causation and that's why it is being investigated. People can fall ill at any time and in this case the patient is suffering from inflammation of the spine. It may or may not be connected.

I've had agony in my groin and upper legs for about 3 weeks and most recently sore testicles. Had blood tests last week all came back normal apart from a couple of slight inflammatory markers. Went to see the Dr who had a good feel around and has diagnosed me with the thigh version of tennis elbow. It was a relief for me, more importantly, I didn't get the inflammation from a covid vaccine.

Exactly, and if you had been part of the trial that would still have happened and they would suspend and investigate.

I can't see anyone who is coming out of this in a positive way... surely everyone wants to get back to normal, regardless of whether you're thinking of peoples health, the economy, education, or everyones wellbeing (or indeed, all of the above)

You’re obviously unaware of how much money the worlds richest have acquired during this period and the vast billions big pharma and Bill Gates will make from forcing vaccines on people. Most of the workds richest people have large amounts of stock in big pharma

Most of the evil doers in the world are philanthropists. It's how they fool people like yourself. Do some real research and don't just take things at face value and you'll be surprised at what is going on. He is not a good man. No billionaire is

That evil genius Bill Gates making loads of money so that he can, errr give it away to charity. Do those who have all these shares in big pharma not have any shares in say real estate, airlines, oil companies etc that have tanked during this year ?

Apparently the vast majority of giving by philanthropists (over 80%) is to educational charities . . . . which happen to be the elite schools and universities they attended which then propogates inequality. Gates is an outlier in terms of his philanthropy.

All of the worlds richest? Like some said above I'm sure plenty of them have diversified portfolios that have lost a fair bit too.

There will be those that have most of their wealth in growth sectors that have benefited (Bezos etc)
There will be those that moved their money when they saw what was happening to minimise loss and maybe moved it into companies like Amazon en masse, therefore growing their wealth because they had the foresight to do so.
There will be others who have their assets tied to projects which have taken one hell of a beating (random example of Michael O'leary - Ryanair most likely without fact checking)

Trying to group all billionaires together and say it's all one big conspiracy is ridiculous.

There's no evidence yet, that this has anything to do with the vaccine. As has been stated in many of the articles on this, when you are monitoring the health of tens of thousands of people taking part in a clinical trial over a period of several months, some of them are going to get sick during that time, which can be purely coincidental.

That's why an independent panel is looking into the circumstances and only after they've finished their investigation and revealed their findings, while we know whether the vaccine is implicated in this or not.
 
I understand the need to protect patient confidentiality but surely they could make a statement to clarify that whoever the person was and whatever condition they suffered from, this "adverse event" could not be definitively linked to the effects of the vaccine?

I mean, I'm assuming that's what they found, given that they're allowing the trial to resume - but I think not making a clearer statement to that effect is a bit of a misstep.

The way they've done it, smacks of high-handedness to me. It's almost as if they're saying, "We're not going to give you any information about what happened, other than to say that we're allowing the trial to restart."

I have spoken to parents at school who still won't allow their child the mmr because of autism, even though it's proven to be b*llocks.
