I hope the players felt guilt and a hunger and passion to rectify this performance next season after watching 5k travelling army never stop despite their absolutely abject display. .
Its clearly lit a fire under Wilder and some decent players who are ready for talks us will be thinking to themselves, 'That could he me next season but in much better circumstances'
The rebuild starts Monday.
This to me next year it won't be as bleak as today and the fans will be cheering in celebration not consolation

Tav seemed to be crying at the end. Had his shirt over his head and a few players were consoling him. Hope it was'nt a sign he's leaving.

Tav crying and being upset could mean he gives 2 Fu**s and was desperate to reward the fans.
The lads took of unfair stick but since wilde came In he's been absolutely excellent, added some goals and some assists and deserved some of his team mates to help him a lot more e in the past few weeks
If he goes to a big money move to the Pl then the lads earned it and goes with my blessing.
If not I'd be overjoyed if he stayed and was a catalyst for promotion next year

I have to admit, the best thing about today was the easy get away. It all looked liked being such a good day, especially with Sweet Caroline getting everyone in the mood. I even met Newy and his family outside the ground before the kick off.
If ever a match described the true definition of “typical Boro” it was this one, so onwards and upwards to next season. UTB

I took my father-in-law, he loves his football, and goes to different matches quite often. He sat with us in the Boro end today, and he said afterwards how impressive our fans were, asking if we’re always that loud. The football wasn’t great today, but wow, I was very impressed with our fans.
