Dieng is pretty much the keeper that Man Utd thought they were buying with Onana.

I really hope Dieng stays with us for years, I have never felt so calm with the ball going back to a boro keeper.

That is the one thing I miss about Steffen, the numpties getting their panties wet as he released the ball at the very last moment. :ROFLMAO:

I agree though that Dieng is the best keeper we've had since Skippy.

Yep, I'm sure we signed Engel on the 15th August, realised he was rubbish and so went out and bought Bangura exactly 15 days later.

Perhaps, just perhaps, the club see the season as a long slog of games, realised we'd need more than one, even two if you include Coulson, left backs over the season and so were having discussions about both players in. parallel.

 
Coulson's contract has to be the biggest head scratching moment of the season so far, is he fifth choice left back now behind a centre mid and a right footed centre back?

No idea why we offered him a new deal whilst he was out on loan struggling. Really bizarre
 
Indeedido is obviously the poster the OP is calling out.

He is not a fan of Scott and am sure he will continue to defend that opinion. As Col has.

But Col is right in that we can’t really judge any of this until the season is done. I’m sure if we got promoted or did marginally better than last season Indeedido would admit that recruitment was much better than he thought.

It’s been topsy turvy season so far, everyone is capable of producing negative posts during tough spells.
