Coming in for a lot of stick - I dont thing he’s great.

I hate keepers taht punch when they could catch it’s just basic.

howeve amongst the melee he made an absolute Worldy save today forcing the shot up into the bar - only unfortunate it was then crossed and Toney was there to head home!

Can count on one hand the number of saves he's made this season.

You'd need both hands and your toes to count the number of mistakes.

Even the good save today, he then almost immediately let a shot go straight through him to make it 4-1.

He’s not great but seems to get far more stick than the likes of McNair, who had another shocker yesterday.

Because by and large, McNair has been excellent for us under Warnock.

He's got far more credit in the bank, so the odd shocker isn't going to lead for calls for his head.

Bettinelli made a mistake in his very first game for us, and then in every other game since.
Usually if the opposition get a shot on target, they score.

He has had bad games but like McNair was part of a very good defence earlier in the season. He is getting very exposed in recent weeks.

Without a very good CB next to him (Fry this season) McNair is really struggling and can get bullied.

I don't agree that he is or was.

He had a very good defence in front of him, you may argue that he was key to organising it, but he's been nothing but poor as an actual goalkeeper.
Some of the shots he's let in have been embarrassing and nothing to do with being exposed, and that includes at the start of the season where we had the best defence in England.

Definitely a priority area in the summer. He will go back after his loan period and im really not convinced about Archer as a longterm No1 (only based on Millwall fans and I'll give him the benefit of the doubt).

Also with Britt and Fletcher leaving its going to create a few areas that need filling. Although a fair whack of wages will be freed up.

Only really the second goal the keeper could have been better for yesterday, but then he probably isn t expecting the shot as the man should be closed down.

I thought McNair was very poor yesterday. Far too easily shaken off for the first and when he slipped over for the third he shouldn't have even been looking to go back. Mind you can't be easy when his partner at the back changes every week. Paddy looks a lot better with Fry covering alongside him.

I don't think Dijksteel can play centre back in a four either, Bola better as a stand in imho. However, it was Dijksteel's first game back.

McNair spent too much time out of position on the offensive yesterday. We have enough other players to get forward. He needs to focus on defending and forget he is a box to box midfielder!

Agree. I think he gets away with it with Fry alongside him or in a three, yesterday he was the 'senior' defender should have taken more responsibility. We look less organised at the back without Fry. I think this is because he's always been a defender and reads the game well.

Must be a big lift for the opposition- knowing the keeper you’re playing against has got a mistake or two he displays in most games.

Mystery how he appears to be a nailed on starter every game.
