Have we ever started a season with two full backs worse than these two. One cannot kick a ball straight (Engel) the other is scared stiff to have the ball anywhere near him ,(VDB).

Someone behind the scenes at The Club must be thinking what the hell have I done recommending these two clowns.
 
To be fair RVDB is not a full back and filling in as our two RBs are injured and our previous fill in (McNair) has been dropped.

If your worries about engel are about kicking the ball straight.
Not the caravan he was towing ..
You weren't watching.
Also.
The kid filling in at right back , and then on the left ... who's a centre back / back three ..
isn't 70 million pounds worth of Kyle walker ..
 
As above VDB is centre back. Imagine lenihan or fry playing there. Its not his game and quite unfair on a young lad new to team.

No ones mentioned o'brien yet who played in his right position and was shocking on the ball.
