Can’t believe it took that longOasis - Definitely Maybe.
Was I the only person who didn't like The Las.Wish The Las had been able to keep it together. Love the debut album.
A couple from the 00's. Larrikin Love's debut album was brilliant but never followed up. The other that springs to mind was a lad called Matthew Jay. His debut album was decent and a lot of promise there but unfortunately he passed away before he could follow it up
I thought the point of the tread was artists who could never replicate the standard of an album. Seems I misunderstood.Pretty sure they had more than one album?
No worries, that would be a long list!I thought the point of the tread was artists who could never replicate the standard of an album. Seems I misunderstood.
Operation Ivy
Lauryn Hill
Young Marble Giants
Minor Threat
Agree with Minor Threat... (they had a couple of decent EPs too).
Would you class 'Operation Ivy' as a classic? I'm a huge Rancid fan... But I'm always a bit 'hmmm' when it comes to Operation Ivy.
(Btw - Have you ever listened to Common Rider?)
That's where The Wedding Present got "Getting Nowhere Fast" from isn't it?Girls at Our Best - Pleasure.........still play it today.
Definitely NOT a one album wonder. No maybe about it.Oasis - Definitely Maybe.
