Channel hopping and I came across “Loose Women”

A feature entitled “Are you best friends with your belly” showing a very heavy American woman in her bra and pants talking to her enormous belly like a beloved friend.

Nadia Sawalha says it’s a way of being in touch with your soul.

Linda Robson reports that she sings “I’m lovely, I’m lovely, I’m lovely” to herself while looking in the mirror every day. Even though she looks like Eddie from Iron Maiden

Then they all tell each other they are all wonderful and beautiful and they don’t talk enough about their personalities.

To crown it all they are having Katie Price on later telling everyone how hard her life is.

WHAT THE F.......

Just switch it over. Clearly the show has an audience or it wouldn't be on air. I tend to skip past shows like that as I have zero interest in people like Katie Price.

Last September I was doing Jury Service and Teesside Crown Court had ITV on exclusively. Loose Woman was absolutely awful. I was attempting to read a book, but in the end had to bring earphones with me the next day to block out the constant nonsense.

Mrs Steer watches it, and since lockdown & working from home, I happened to see a few.

The other day they were talking about their snatches, and shaving. Put me off my tuna sandwich.

"having a good cry" was one of their features a few days ago. It sometimes even gets too much for Mrs Steer.

This Morning and Loose women are the daytime TV and stay at home mum favourites. Twitter is usually awash daily with people commenting on physic cats or how to turn an old washing up bottle into a d*ldo or some other woeful 'life hack' 😂

You see women having full on social media meltdowns over these programs. Then again I guess we do over football.

Also side note.... Will people stop writing into ofcom complaining that Holly is showing to much cleavage on a Saturday night. Get a grip!!

Bit of body shaming I see.

Janet Street Porter has a voice that gets right under my skin and seems to be everything I would not wish to see in a woman, loud, brash, very opinionated ( that goes for men too before I get accused of being sexist) One minute they are talking about bra sizes and the next they are commenting on the political situation in Myanmar!!!!! OMG. They can also say what they want about men with impunity it would appear. I think if men were allowed a panel show like this the cries of sexism would soon have it stopped. Somehow the rules are different for the fairer sex. I suppose its audience is predominantly women. And to each their own I suppose. Katie Price is not my favourite 'Celeb' but I admire her greatly for her love and care for Harvey. I won't even comment about Dwight Yorke.
