Olympic Skateboarding?

The rugby 7's was superb, with GB team looking very good.
I'm enjoying most events, but the 7's was superb, and I'm not a rugby fan.
7’s is a vastly underrated form of the game. Those players are the real athletes in the sport and the reduced numbers mean it’s usually end to end entertainment.

Anyone that thinks skating doesn't require a degree of skill, then I challenge you to try and push a board round a car park without falling off. If you mastered that then do a simple ollie, and land it, and then come back to me.

As someone else says the reason their tricks aren't that spectacular compared to the videos on youtube is that one railslide or nose grind may take hours or even weeks to perfect for the video, in the Olympics they have to do stuff they know they can land within the short time they have and so are not going to go all out with an amazing trick.

Darts and snooker are played against two people competing against each other using skill and judgement, to a definite conclusion. A lot of Olympic sports are scored by judges, in which their opinions can win a competitor a medal, even though a layman to the sport might think different
