Forget today we lost but so did hull ( the key result for me) so now it’s 3 games left.

come on Boro

Come on Boro!(y)
Three to go - even if we end up being the fat lad at the back......so long as there are three who dont make it to the line, thats fine(y)

I don't see the BORO getting another point. Two tough away games and a tough one at home. The Luton win brings them back into the mix. Not to confident in any way shape or fashion.

I think the fact we have 2 away games will save us. Home games seem to produce a lethargic display (and that's not just us), it's almost as if away teams just want to get in get the job done and go.

In the post match debrief I'd get a couple of goons to march one of the squad out of the dressing room, the rest would hear a single gunshot and the missing player would never be seen at training again.

Then Blackwell walks back in and says we need a bit more from you next game lads, get yourselves away.

It is enormously complicated - especially with teams playing each other but if we could possibly win at Reading that result would probably keep us up. Today's results might have put Sheff Wed beyond us even after 12 points deduction. Wigan will fancy their 3 games to get a big points tally. But will they be able to win them all? I think if we could get to 50 points there are likely to be 3 below us. Really need to take something from Reading. What do others think?

I think how we’ve managed to be delighted on relying other teams losses or if Wigan will get a points deduction is nothing short of a disgrace. We will stay up, but we are delaying the inevitable next season unless we see big changes throughout the whole club.

We won't need 4. I don't even know if we need any more at all, unless Wigan are let off somehow.

Wigan have two winnable games left, then face Fulham. If they win the two easier games, then Boro need another win - or two draws - to stay ahead of them. If Wigan win all three then Boro need two wins. That's not going to happen.

Meanwhile Boro are relying on Hull, Stoke, Charlton and Huddersfield winning no more than two points. Since some of them play each other, that's a tall order.

Whatever happens we don’t deserve to stay up. We have been awful all season and if we get relegated we can’t be surprised. I’m disappointed in the lack of improvement Warnock has brought about from our so called players

Surely we deserve to stay up if we finish outside the bottom 3.

My big worry is that even if we survive, how on earth do we assemble a competitive team for the new season, just weeks away

I think we can all assume, with some degree of accuracy, that Warnock and blackwell have told the club who they want - given them a list of players and said "go out and make sure you get them(!) - Especially Him(!) Him(!) and Him(!).
Warnock spoke this week about "discussing" players with "two others" at the club - you can bet it was more than a "discussion" - probably more like Daily Orders!
Warnock has more contacts in the game than the Electricity Generating Board.
I dont think we should have any doubts about his ability to assemble a team ready for a months time.

He could call down a coal mine - an bring up a first team, ready to challenge for promotion(y)

We look a much better team when we attempt to pass the ball forward. The hoof up the channels is a hopeless tactic that gets the opposition on the attack again. Our Christmas and New year success involved a decent passing game with high pressing when not in possession.
