Oh Wilder (just) Said …

Reminds me of when we took Monk off Leeds, I think there's something in it, very non committal in my opinion. Promote an already strong squad to add to your CV or hope you get it right with a team that needs a number of players on a limited budget, if we have a bad start he's under pressure, hope I'm wrong.

Yes but he hasn't hesitated to seriously consider Burnley. Not Villa, Everton, Leeds etc.

Burnley.

Yes they will have parachute money but anyone who knows football knows with the right recruitment and manager then we could finish above them next season, and we are undoubtedly a club with more potential.

I'm actually shocked he fancies it.
Was he asked about those?

He’s evens for it now on Sky Bet.

I think we might see an announcement of some sort in the next 24 hours as the club will be aware of the concern among supporters. They have been pretty good with statements recently so either way we could well hear something soon.
The betting markets on these don’t mean anything.

Weather he was asked about the Leeds job? It really is irrelevant.
Whether he’s considered them. If he’s been asked about the Burnley job then why wouldn’t he consider it? I saw the press conference after the game today, and watching him speak he just looked sick as a chip about the performance. Not like a guy who was about to run down the road to a triple your money payday.

I would say Wilder is the best manager we have had since Karanka but if he can be tempted by Burnley then would you be really disappointed if he was to go.
Yes, I think so. January transfer window has been the main reason for the malaise, (that and Crooks’ form). It did all feel a bit hasty. I’d like to see his more considered signings in the summer, to get a feel for what HIS team actually looks like.

Everton, Leeds didn't want him and if they did then I would expect him to consider it as they are bigger clubs than Middlesbrough.

Totally different and unrelated to Burnley. He isn't daft. He knew he was leaving the door open.

It would be absolutely ridiculous if he didn’t have a contract and I just don’t believe it.

Wilder must be asked a direct question tomorrow if he doesn’t put it to bed then we can draw our own conclusions.

I’m just hoping that this is really poor communication between him and the media.

No its not debate when you have certain members basically telling him to f off. That’s bedwetting
I am that certain member. Maybe I’m daft.. I just want my manager to say he loves my club and our fans and will be sticking with the boro to go for promotion this season or next.

I’ll go even further.. I kind of want him to big up our players and say they are all talented lads who are capable of beating any team in the league.. I want him to say we can win all of our remaining games and sweep the playoffs. We can, we can but what he thinks is the best team at that moment in time and then it’s up to those players to go out onto the pitch and express themselves to their fullest potential. To make their own dreams come true as well as the fans. To be the very best versions of themselves and to give the best possible account of their footballing career.

I mean he already hasn’t answered the question twice now. Fair enough the first time round.. but he’s not stupid he knows what the score is. If he doesn’t fancy it, if he’s not up for it or giving his chin a stroke.. then I’ll give him a lift to Burnley myself!

No stopping and if I fart after being on the Guinness and Garlic Curry.. THE WINDOWS STAY UP! (no matter how much my eyes will be waterering) and we’re listening to my Neil Warnock audio book all the way!

He’s not even our best manager since Neil Warnock!

Give Neil Warnock Dijksteel, Hall, Fry, Bola, Taylor, McGree, Connolly, Ballogun, Boyd-Munce and see where we end up.

Give him another January and see if we don’t end up with another Keeper!!
