Wilder needs at least 1 striker to come good after the fiasco with Balogun and Connolly in January. Its an old cliché but mangers live and die by their signings and if wilder cant get a prolific striker into the club after 6 or 7 attempts then surely his times up. A lot seems to be riding on Muniz doing the business.

I have been pointing out since 2006 that we generally appoint Head Coach’s not old fashioned managers, I am sure some fans fail to understand the difference. Whilst the Head Coach has clear input, he does not have the casting vote and does not negotiate purchases or agree sales, yet despite all the evidence to the contrary, the head coach/manager carries the can for failures in the transfer market (recruitment & retention) whilst some people escape scot-free.
