'Officially Middlesbrough's worst start outside of the top flight'

CW is looking like a busted flush - sometimes it just doesn’t work out for you at a club. I don’t think the players believe in him and aren’t giving their all for him, when that happens it’s inevitable that a parting of ways isn’t far away
This I have heard a few weeks ago.

We're the whipping boys of the division now and the team everyone wants to face. We create next to nowt, have a crap defence and a midfield you can walk through or around. If there isnt big changes soon we'll get dragged into a relegation fight. Nobody is 'too good' to go down. We dont score and let too many in, so, it's a scary thought but it is by no means even an outside bet anymore.

Bet 365 have us as 6th favourite at 13/8 to finish in the top 6,WBA have jumped above us to 5th.

CW has a extra large ego. Been in the game all his life so is conditioned to the footie life ... he knows when its not gelling at a club and the Burnley fiasco shows that ... the silence from him during that was disrespectful to us and the club. He is on a long and no doubt brokered a decent package ... Gibbo will not want to pay out and finish him .... he is pizzed that recruitment was not up to expectations and he knows he cant polish a turd... current midfield is one of the worse I have seen - just unbalanced

2 years in a row now, interesting to read these comments compared to this years
3rd of October last year.. that will be Home against Cardiff.. 4 league games from now.. our 10th game

6 points from 4 games would be very nice. 3 points tonight and then 3 points against Cardiff at home.. 3rd of October.

We'd need to win in our 11th game against Sunderland to get back on track and be level on points to where Wilder was last season when we dispensed of his services.

If we're not on 7 points after our game against Cardiff at home against Cardiff.. then I do believe the clock will start ticking and questions will be asked.

This is the most worrying and annoying start to a season I have seen since 83.. Words can't express how frustrated I am watching this shambles unfold..
We are having a exact re-run of the Woodgate summer a few years ago but with bigger badder buys and a seemingly equally ineffective coach and look how that worked out.. (so much for learn from experience)
Our recruitment has been shocking , I don't see a player in any of the buys we have made other than Latte 'jigsaw" Lathe...
I assume the plan is to forget any aspiration of a decent season this year and buy young talent that we can coach through to a decent level, then sell on.
We won't ever progress beyond where we are now if that's the case.

If that is the plan then the best thing we could do now is get Mulensteen and Phelan in to help Carrick with the coaching , (looking at Mulensteens Wiki it seems he's involved with the Aussie national team now , which could explain our current fixation on Aussie players)

Really really frustrated and angry..

At least Uncle Neil is available February/March time to come to the rescue. I'm sure he'd accept any offer in a flash!
