Great bit if commentary today
Carlton Kirby waxing lyrical about the Jumbo Visma cycling jersey. Describing how it is a tribute to the Dutch masters including Rembrandt and Van Gough. He went on to tell Sean Kelly the intricate detail of each tribute hidden in the jersey.

Then a pause

Sean Kelly ‘And there is Kasper Asgreen in the Peloton, he has a cycle shop near here’

Love them both, Carlton for being able to ramble on for 5 or 6 hours and Sean for getting to the point.
Don't know who it was commenting on Friday about all the fancy compounds used to make grippy tyres for wet weather, but SK summed it up when he said they cleaned the tyres with vinegar to improve grip.

That was some sprint and nice to see Sagan right in the mix.
Jakobsen I noticed got everything wrong in that sprint and couldn’t see a way through. Ewan the same. Terrible positioning and Sagan shut the door on him. Groenewegen didn’t need a lead out train to get the win and ironically WVA‘s team mate Laporte gave him the space to take it.
