Official bid for Sam Morsy accepted

Did any of us jump for joy when we signed Saville? Honestly? He's THE most vanilla player I've seen play for us in recent times. A box to box player who scores goals, puts his foot in, covers acres of ground. That's how he was sold to us! He's the opposite.

As I've said above I can't recall ever seeing Morsy play, but if Warnock rates him then it's good enough for me!

I think Warnock rates Saville too. Hopefully we’ll see the player we thought we were getting this season.

Hmm, or maybe he was just doing the psychological trick of bigging up a player so he can shift him. However, if any manager can turn a player into something then Warnock's that man, so let's see I guess. I would be more than happy to eat my words!

That is great news. Reading between the lines it looks like Wigan previously gave us permission to speak with the player while a fee was being thrashed out.

Probably not that much. Wigan fans seem to be unhappy about how little the administrators seem to be selling players for

Suits us. But I do feel for Wigan. Wonder if we could put one of our youngsters or someone who isn’t gonna feature very much like Bola on loan there to help them out.

He seems to have been successful in his career so far and nice to see he was Wigan's fans Player of the Year, last season. He seems a tough stocky cookie.

The Administrators are in a difficult position. First and foremost they are there to satisfy the club's creditors and if that means having to accept lowball offers for players then so be it.

Good news, would be pleased with this. Hope we’ve got some defenders and attacking mids lined up too. I don’t mind Wigan and feel a bit sorry for them, hopefully in a few weeks we are in a position to send some of our youngsters to them on loan.

I do feel sorry for Wigan fans too. Their have had to sell seven or eight players and I am not sure if they be allowed to bring in new players yet. I hope they can get in some good loanees and frees and rebuild. I have a feeling they will and have a good go at promotion, like we did in 1998.

The FL should have been more thorough on their ownership checks, but once they had approved the new owners they had to stick with their own decision and rules.

Wigan well and truly getting shafted.

Even though we're benefitting from it, it's just wrong.

Whoever is to blame for Wigan's current situation are a disgrace.

We should definitely look to loan some of our youth to Wigan, likely to get a game and it would help them out.

Walker and Wood could really do with the regular game time.

EFL meeting tomorrow to decide if Wigan can start the season. It’s a complete joke- guy at work was told via letter from administrators that EFL would let them start the season they’ve no changed their mind and want more information tomorrow.
