NW got the players to give Watmore around of applause

This bloke we have in charge just knows how to be an excellent man manager, how to get the best out of individuals & makes them feel 10 feet tall, who will run through a brick wall for him

His interviews are amazing, he comes across how much he loves it here

What a turn around from last season, losing at home to Swansea 3-0, Jonathan Woodgates final game in charge & the introduction of NW for the Stoke fixture, his 1st game in charge

Not sure what the contract situation is but I think Dury said it was only until January.
I think he deserves until the end of the season. And if offered now would snap it up.

Would BA have scored those two tonight. Well the first had a bit of luck about it with the deflection. But I know who I would be backing on the second goal.

I think its great testament to warnock in what hes done with the club.

I know when he first came in a lot of people were set against him, but I honestly don't think there are many, if any anti warnock boro fans.

The mans turned not just the players around but the club as a whole around, fans are starting to get behind the lads, and starting to see a chance of getting back to the pre monk days

Wasn’t that many against him

Saw a plenty on twitter and my Facebook timelines that weren't happy with us bringing him in due to not liking his style of football.

Personally I've always liked warnock and glad we finally got him, just worry for what will happen when he leaves

I suspect a run of goalless draws and the odd defeat will bring the moaners out. At the minute the contrast with woodgate is keeping everyone happy. Let's see if that continues.

I get what your saying but I think it’s quite clear the overwhelming majority thought it was the right appointment. You are obviously gonna get a few daft lads who think Neil Warnock comes out of the same copy book as Tony Pulis

Nout wrong with the odd defeat it’s how you bounce back. And we have done that brilliantly so far under Warnock. Sign of a good team.

We have block but for some fans I have always thought football is a perverse pass time for them and they use it to moan. My dad being one of them. He doesn't go anymore but a few years ago when I used to go with him, we would take our seats and he would say "can't see us getting anything here" it was like a game show catchphrase. There is a portion of our fans not happy unless they have something to moan about

True I think you always get the odd few who moan at remotely anything. But I think the general feeling around the club is that of happiness and confidence in Warnock and what he’s looking to do. Hopefully it stays this way

Could that ever backfire though? Supposing you had two or three players who thought they had a better game than Watmore, and they're having to clap for him. I reckon quite a few footballers have egos, and worud be thinking "where's my clapping"!

That said, if there's great team spirit, those more selfish thoughts probably go out of the window.

sure the clapping was for the lad coming back after injury and scoring his first goals in nearly a year

Exactly. He’s done it for Fry who had struggled after Covid and I think Dijksteel after his first season struggles. He’s doing it for the right reasons

I certainly don't doubt it's for the right reasons. I just wondered if it could ever backfire... but let's face it, Warnock seems to know what he's doing, so I guess not!! 👍

There were many on here who said if he becomes our manager they'll not set foot in the stadium, saying that they've kept their word 😂
