Nuno leaving Wolves

Sour grapes maybe but his side that came to the Riverside were a disgrace. Diving and faking injury all over the place. Almost threw the game away from a commanding position after needlessly losing discipline.

His reaction at the final whistle (refusing to shake Pulis hand) suggested that the complete lack of class from the players came from the manager.

Bang average for me. Done as expected with the resources he's had and a bit of a nob to boot.

Totally agree, he's a decent enough manager but he went down in my estimation that night with the way he set his team up to play and also his pitch side antics. Whingeing to the officials at every opportunity and encouraging his entire backroom team to do the same.

He was even gesturing and pumping his fist towards the Boro fans as he went down the tunnel, it was actually quite childish behaviour from a grown adult.

Promoted in his first season from The Championship.
Finished 7th in first season in PL
Finished 7th in second season in PL
Third season in PL, lost two of their biggest players (Jota & Doc). Then lost their main striker to a horrible incident early into the season. And yet never once come close to even flirting with the drop zone.

But yes, Nuno is overrated.

Read some absolute tosh on here at times.

One of those situations where it’s better to walk away with your head held high-ish I think. Not a surprise, I thought he might move on.

Always struck me as a sincere and very likeable guy, beloved at Wolves.

Agree that’s it’s not exactly managerial genius to do what he did with a team with that much talent and investment, even in the Champo they had a decent PL team and £20M players. But I think most admire the way he’s done it with his personal qualities.

Also agree that he’s struggled with Jimenez out and to change the way they play.

Funny, I don’t see him at Spurs, doesn’t seem the type.

Looking at the long list of Portuguese managers Wolves have been linked with to replace him, there’s one very big name missing... which would be spicy.

Can’t see Jose at Wolves ever . He’s always needed wheelbarrows full of money and they’re not ‘big’ enough for his ego , anyway he’s got a new job next season at Roma

I don’t want to sound like I am trolling here, but you have just described our current manager there.

I agree with you and I don't like to see it from us either.

Not sure I subscribe to this nonsense about putting the officials under pressure so you get more favorable decisions, I think officials these days are wise to it (and look at most of the big decisions last season, it seemed to work against us rather than for us!).

The more you rant and rave the less impact it has, save your anger for the really contentious incidents.

Completely agree with all of that Rooster 👍

Hence Mogga sitting back and grinning . He was watching NW bury himself deeper and deeper as he went on . Naturally you can understand NW being enraged by the blatant red card ( not given ) but I guess he’s never going to change now and it goes with the package .

"Save your anger for the really contentious incidents"

You've got a very high bar for contentious if you think a boot to the eye socket being ignored should be met with calmness.
