That was a very, very good fee for him. One of the few times recently we've got someone to over pay. For comparison that summer, Matt Philips went to West Brom for 5.5mill, we signed Fabio for 2mill, Vydra went to Derby for 8mill.

Norwich you have to look at the whole picture in the last 12 years they've had 4 relegations, and it's nearly 30 years since they've been to a cup semi-final. They're on a high after a good promotion and the second in 3 years, but you have to look longer term and I wouldn't think they are any better managed than us.

It's not living in the past, it's cyclical, we are at the bottom of a cycle and are starting to move up again. We were hamstrung by one summer of terrible recruitment and a failure to accept and cut our losses quickly. We should have tried to sell Britt after 1 year, 2 at most, we might have had some takers back then.

Well said, if we'd had those 4 relegations Norwich had this place would class it as a disaster.

Theres alot of average/decent players in the premier league when you compare them to the top teams. I think reach is a good signing. Technically good with both feet, can score goals out of nothing and we seen here he can also defend really well.

People saying he isnt good enough for us are having a laugh. He would be a great signing definately an upgrade on johnson.

An upgrade on Johnson without a doubt but his form was a problem for Sheff Wed last season.

I am surprised Norwich are going for him - he was sometimes a sub at Sheff Wed in the Championship in the last 2 seasons. Always had a nice shot and pass in him, but not consistent enough to stand out. If it was between Bolasie and him I would go Bolasie.

An upgrade on Johnson without a doubt but his form was a problem for Sheff Wed last season.

The likelihood is we wont be buying anyone who is on constantly on form sadly, I think consistency is an issue with him. Seems like a confidence player which I think warnock would help with.
