North Macedonia v England - 7:45pm KO

Must admit ViaPlay have spoiled international weekend for me. Used to enjoy watching big games with other teams (Ukraine tonight for example) but can't justify it on top of sky and TNT.
 
Rico Lewis, hasn't played the equivalent of 4 Premier League games in minutes. How many of those in the position he's reported as playing tonight?
 
Interesting to see Rico Lewis at left back. Without Luke Shaw that is a problem position for England.

I’m glad to see Watkins start too.

Surely it would have made sense to have given Tyrick Mitchell a call-up. Good solid LB at Premier League level.

Seems a shame Rico isn't getting a chance to play in midfield.

Agree. Mitchell is a good player and worth trying out.
 
I like 3 N Macedonian players and wouldn’t mind them at Boro

I don't really understand why we didn't call him up, to be honest, unless he really didn't impress Southgate with his atittude in his previous caps for England.
My memory isn't amazing, but I thought he was fine against Ivory Coast.

We've just had a bunch of players out of position, with no dedicated left back even named for this round of fixtures.

Was ridiculous that we ended up playing Tomori LB in the last game.
