No Giles in the squad. Any info?

Makes the fact he was back at the Wolves game the other night worrying now. Hope he hasn’t got a bad injury

I don't think he would play the entire season, get to the play offs and then head back to wolves ( unless he is injured ) nothing to worry about just resting a key player before the big games!!

Well obviously the worry is he is injured. What else is there to worry about?

Hopefully he’s just rested

Craig Johns view before the team was announced. (Presume he had inside info).

”With Ryan Giles also playing every game since Carrick's arrival, this is potentially a good chance to give him a game off”.

Well there's injuries and there's injuries.

Apparently most players are always carrying some sort of minor injury or issue. Think Ben Foster talks about it on one of his podcasts. It's rare they're 100% fit with no issues.

So if Giles is say, 80% fit maybe he'd usually have played if there was anything riding on it. But why risk it in the circumstances?

Same probably goes for any others "injured".

I fully expected Giles to get a rest in one of the games between Luton, Rotherham and Coventry. He's played nearly every minute under Carrick so it makes sense.

I expect him to be starting against Coventry.
