No sending off or pen had that happened in the premier league with VAR
Fry pulled his arm first, no way does a defender get away with that
That’s the key for me if snd I say if it was a foul it was way outside the box.Arm contact was going on yards before the box.
This is why I didn’t want him to join them for days like this.Mowbray says it was a penalty. Obviously can't have seen the replay then.

Yeah he never saw the Blackburn defender kick Fry in the face either. This is why I didn’t want him to join them for days like this.
How was it a genuine attempt to play the ball? If it was in the box it would still have been a red.My point is not that the penalty decision but the point you made
“Thirdly, if it is a pen then it isn’t a red. New double jeopardy rule - it was a genuine attempt for the ball. Pen and no red card.”
The referee decided to award the penalty for pulling the opponent once he decided it was a penalty the direction for that offence is a Red card. Therefore it does not fall foul of the double jeopardy.
Quoted the wrong personHow was it a genuine attempt to play the ball? If it was in the box it would still have been a red.
Exactly, Mowbray is best summed with immortal David Brent line: "you can tell he's lying, his lips move"Mowbray saw nothing wrong with Branthwaite's challenge on Fry, he's always going to defend his own players, regardless of the incident.
JClear red and a free kick. Fry so poor yet again, how many times can he get caught out in those positions

Very true. You can’t slag Mogga off though, it’s not allowed on this boardDid anyone really expect Mowbray to give an honest opinion on the penalty? He has history.
