No Bags at Stoke

Just heard that Stoke City have imposed a "no bags" policy at their ground this season - I don't think there are exceptions to this - it is to limit covid searches etc. Hopefully this doesn't catch on and doesn't catch us out when we visit.

Sounds very much like something they wanted to do anyway and have used COVID as an excuse. We'll probably see more of this sort of thing. Poor.

Wembley allow A4 maximum size. Stoke seem to be saying absolute NO bags.
We will see how possible this is and whether any other clubs follow suit.

It’s probably more the fact that he is responsible for his work laptop and you can guarantee the school had some sign up saying if it went missing, they aren’t.

Depends what’s on your work laptop I guess. can also imagine queues being horrendous

Exactly that, he would be in big trouble if his laptop went missing (written warning I believe).

Yes good point. Sod all on my computer though. I doubt the company would notice it was missing.

I cannot work out how this has anything to do with Covid?

At a stretch I'd maybe say rifling through the contents of a bag which may have covid particle on them, but then we're letting in people who may be positive anyway? Seems an odd one.
