NHS pay rise 1%

The public sector has seen around 12 years of real terms pay cuts, due to austerity measures, all as a result of mismanagement by the banking sector, who essentially carried on without any real detriment to them.

Also factor in that the majority of experts feel that strategy of austerity measures have failed and its no wonder the NHS is so angry.

The public sector have had 12 years of real term pay cuts because of tory ideology, nothing really to do with the banking sector. As per, the government convinced everyone that we had to cut back, and the poorest in society were hit hardest while the rich continued to get richer.

The financial collapse was used as an excuse for the ideology. It wasn't the reason for it though true, it was an ideology of smaller government and therefore lower tax burden on the rich.

Yep, austerity has only delivered an even bigger margin between the have's and have nots

The issue is this is a theory I have looked online and there are those for and against it like most thinks yet you talk to me as if I don’t know what I’m talking about - I know the theory I just don’t agree with it as many don’t.
It's a theory in the same way gravity is a theory. Do you wander around in suction-boots all day, just in case?

The issue is how the economy is framed when it's being discussed by politicians etc.

The mechanics of it don't change. Money is created and then taxed out of existence. There isn't something else happening at the moment that we need to usurp.
