Imagine that going to the match on Xmas day, which did used to happen.

Wrexham were the last Christmas Day fixtures in England for several years, with the last ever coming in 1965.

Ridiculous & just shows how TV & esp $ ruins sport as a competition. All but one of the NFL teams are franchises, effectively 'fans' are supporting KFC, McDonald's or Chevrolet: business..

If they'd called a game off for cold temperatures there would've been an uproar among the fans. If you live in Cleveland, Detroit, Chicago etc you have all the cold weather gear and just accept it's going to be cold in winter. This week's weather has made the UK news because it's such a widespread event, but it's not unusual weather for those places listed (and others). It will be colder and snowier than this in January in Chicago for sure.
