NFL playoffs — Super Wildcard weekend

It's -23C here and the wind chill drops it to -35C. I've just tried to replicate that experiment and nothing happened......it must have been colder inside the concourse there than it currently is outside here!!

A very promising Miami season when they looked like walking the play offs top seed weeks ago ended up losing the afc east and going out at first hurdle.

Huge questions need to be asked now on both QB and coach as buffalo were floundering worst season we’ve had in years.

Miami’s big loss was the titans game. How they throw that away, I’m still not sure. Could have rested the starters in final game and still been locked into 2.
I’m sure that they stick with Tua and McDaniel and go again next year. Year on year progress and can’t suffer as badly with injuries next year
 
Couple of interesting games tonight but a pity the Lions -Rams game isn’t the early one as I’d prefer to watch that live, but will have to make do with highlights tomorrow. Cowboys should beat the Packers but Love has been improving all year.

Now my team is out I don’t really have a team I’d like to win it all, just a list of teams who I don’t want to win it. Exclusively AFC teams on the list.
 
Most of the, if not all of the betting lines going with a convincing win for the Cowboys today, and while I agree I think the Packers have been getting their act together especially on the road. Nonetheless for the Packers to hang-in against a potent Cowboys offense they’ll have to be perfect, while Dak will also have to have an off day.

I know all teams have injuries but 11 different starting OL combinations, pretty much all the pass rushers and LB on IR. Plus Hill, waddle, mostert, archane, Howard, Holland, Ramsey all missing time.

Playing in the NFL is brutal, the majority of players don’t even last 3 seasons it’s that difficult to negotiate the magnitude of the hits they take.

I was wondering if anyone had the chance to suit up in some capacity and play the game? I once played in Barrow as we had a former US collegiate player working at the submarine yard who got a team together for the Budweiser league. All I can say is once you’ve got the gear on you feel like the abominable snowman. In a nutshell they are extraordinary athletes.
