Same, my understanding of the rules isn’t absolute, but I thought incomplete. Interesting that the experts in the studio were amazed it was given as a catch, even saying that the rules hadn’t been applied. They were gobsmacked it wasn’t overturned. The one that hit the ground? Beyond my comprehension of the rules to explain that one. Romo said it's allowed to hit the ground as long as that doesn't cause it to move which it didn't but it seemed like it didn't move because the defender had hold of it but if two players catch a ball the advantage goes to the offense. It's like they muddled two calls together. Either Chiefs caught the ball not Bills because offense gets the benefit but if it was just that in isolation then it shouldn't have been a catch because of it hitting the ground. Think the outcomes should have either been an incomplete pass or a Bills interception. Not sure a Chiefs catch was even an option.
I don’t see how it could have been given as a Chiefs catch as it hit the floor while both players were holding it!
