Always a crazy few days when free agency opens.

Thought the Steelers might go for Fields but went for Wilson instead. Cousins to Atlanta was predicted and happened.

Lots of RB moves - Henry to the Ravens not unexpected, Josh Jacobs to Green Bay was.

Edit : Steelers just got Patrick Queen LB from Ravens. That’s a big inside division move.

WOW! I like this Patrick Queen move a lot too…
Ravens decline on his 5th year option and he subsequently delivers a Pro Bowl, career season for them. A former Ravens first round pick and just 24 years old. Mike Tomlin surely knows and admires this Steeler-record, free-agent signing👍

I see Aaron Donald has retired: truly great player. I don't know enough history of the game to comment on whether he's the best defensive player if all time, but he's the best in the time I've been watching.
I wish he hadn't been so good in the SB against the Bengals.

Not the best of all time, but absolutely nailed on 100% HoFer.

Absolute beast of a player.

Best DT I’ve ever seen, can’t think of another interior defensive player who was anywhere near as effective.

Crazy period of FA again - the QB carousel is ridiculous this year.

Been some really, really strange QB vet moves. And we haven't even had the draft where there are expected to be 5-6 QBs going top half of the first round. Again.

Ridder to the Cardinals was an interesting one, obviously didn't fancy being backup to Cousins. Not quite a bust as he was a 2?3? Round pick but Atlanta seeing enough in 2 seasons.

Howell to Seattle also an interesting one. Give him an OL to play behind and he could be a very good starting QB.

And Fields is - currently - still in Chicago. Draft day 1 trade bait........?

Nobody seems to want Fields - maybe the Steelers now that Pickett and Rudolph have gone from Pittsburgh but the rumours are it will only take a much lower pick (4th or 5th) to move him on.

Could see quite a few teams being interested 15 mins into the draft as soon as Chicago draft Williams.

4th or 5th seems a decent deal for someone.

I'm surprised there hasn't been more of a market for Fields. I think there's 4-5 teams without a high 1st round pick where I'd say he's better than their current QB.

It might be that teams think they can get him cheaper later.

Ridder was a 3rd round I think. Not terrible, but not really done enough to show he's a starter.

Agree. But why would a club give up either a big fat contract or (potentially) multiple high draft picks NOW to trade, when by the time the Redskins are on the clock Chicago's new QB (Williams probably) will be pictured with Goodell in his new hat and #1 Jersey and Fields is pretty much surplus to requirements and the "bust" tags will be being prepared.

Think the Ridder assessment sums him up - but assume he must have been given guarantees he'll be starting in Arizona 🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️

Fields hasn't exactly set the world alight and is on the last year of his rookie deal, to sign him now you are giving up draft capital to see if he's worth $40m a year. 4th/5th seems high.

A lot of Bears fans don't want Williams. They'd rather keep Fields, give him more protection and another weapon instead. Makes sense to me.

Really surprised by this yesterday but it looks like Pickett showed a sudden change in tone after Steelers acquired Wilson. No player bigger than the team in Steeltown!

Fields traded to the Steelers for a 6th rounder ( turns into a 4th if he plays 51% of the snaps this year).
