Who would you have replace him?

Brendan Rodgers - looks like his time is up at Leicester be a good choice for me. Seems to get the best out of the youngsters at Leicester albeit maybe not this season.

I reckon if Pep wins the Champions league this season he’d be tempted with a big offer from the FA. Mourinho or Poch as well I’d like.

I remember Boro fans in the holgate end around me calling for Bruce Rioch to be sacked when we got knocked out of the league cup by Villa in 87.
We were in the direst of dire straits when he took over and yet he somehow gave us a team to be proud of, on and off the pitch, but numpties were genuinely calling for him to go because we got knocked out of a competition which at the time was the least of our priorities. Sound familiar?

On a serious note Eddie Howe, would be a delightful appointment for all kinds of reasons.

I actually think he would be good. Would certainly fit the bill for the FA

I think GS will be here til after the WC and then I think he may resign whatever happens.

Who’s next? Roberto Martinez for me if he is available. I think he’d carry on with the progress GS has made over his tenure very nicely.

Would be crazy to drop Southgate before the World Cup.. I think he might walk away after that and go into club management.
