I don't think we need a new striker if LL goes, last night proved we have one sat on the bench, bright, inventive, good movement, may I introduce Gilbert !

Not sure he has the physicality for a 9 role. Of course we will need a new cf and we would have a big budget for it

BM, I don’t think the purchase of a new striker would be the problem if LL leaves, it would be the clubs wage structure, which seems pretty rigid these days.

As we bring more money in through big sales that wage structure will naturally change. We won’t buy a 25m replacement it’ll be 10m and another couple of mill will be used to cover increased wage
