New Music

Dutch comedian Youp van ‘t Hek’s famous song about a boy whose pet rabbit is served up for Christmas dinner has been covered by American singer Todd Rundgren. Van ‘t Hek wrote Flappie 40 years ago for his sister’s cabaret group and went on to include it in his own cabaret show when it became a huge and enduring success.

Make of it what you will. Hopefully it will make Goalscroungers Christmas compilation one day.

Todd Rundgren - Flappie

I'll finish for the day with this which no doubt would have Erimus74 shouting sacrilege. I know what he means but if you hadn't heard the original you might think its ok. Proceeds from The Unrighteous Brothers project will be donated to MusiCares, helping musicians with critical assistance in times of need.
