First new original song from Dylan in 8 years and its an absolute belter.

Update on this song.

The near-17-minute track, which was Dylan's first original song release in eight years, was released on March 27 and is about the 1963 assassination of US President John F Kennedy. According to Billboard, Dylan is currently sitting at the top of the Rock Digital Song Sales chart with 'Murder Most Foul'. It marks his first number one song in the US under his own name on any Billboard chart. Nielsen data claims that 'Murder Most Foul' sold 10,000 downloads between its release on March 27 and April 2.

'Murder Most Foul' drew praise from Nick Cave earlier this week. Writing on his fan interaction website The Red Hand Files, Cave said that Dylan's creation was extraordinarily comforting, especially at this moment."

I know it's an album but give Fiona Apple's "Fetch the Bolt Cutters" a listen - it is really rather glorious.
Here's the first track...“I Want You To Love Me"

Added that album to my playlist. It's getting rave reviews everywhere so I'm interested to hear it. Normally with these things I'm not mad keen as I don't generally like the albums with top-notch production and instead things with more of an edge. Not always the case though as I loved last year's Lana Del Rey album.
