New Music 2021

This is really good. I posted 3 tracks by them last week but not this one. Like this a lot. New band to me. Just been playing Ballboy on YouTube and this sounds like an American version of them.

EDIT: In fact so much taken by this band just bought this and another by them on coloured vinyl. Sad that I had to go to Amazon as their record label only had the new one,

i like them. Remind me of a scandinavian fella TKASG put on once, Pelle Carlberg, but somewhat lovelier.

I can't see anything of this band posted. The whole debut album is a cracker for those who like americana of a certain vintage. New Orleans band on Jack White's Third Man label. Nothing groundbreaking, but it's really well done.

Silver Synthetic - In the beginning

The Offspring - This Is Not Utopia...................................no its not but you've got to love them anyway. Going to see them at Leeds in November with my son and his mates.

I love The Offspring too, but the new album is very underwhelming. I bet they're awesome live though!

There is a fantastic free CD of Dylan covers with Junes Uncut magazine which is out now. I wanted to post a few of the highlights but this is all I have found so far. Its a great CD. The full tracklisting for Dylan Revisited is:

Bob Dylan – Too Late (Acoustic Version) - Unreleased
Richard Thompson – This Wheel’s On Fire
Courtney Marie Andrews – To Ramona - Brilliant
The Flaming Lips – Lay Lady Lay
The Weather Station – Precious Angel
Cowboy Junkies – I’ve Made Up My Mind To Give Myself To You - Brilliant
Thurston Moore – Buckets Of Rain - Brilliant
Fatoumata Diawara – Blowin’ In The Wind
Brigid Mae Power – One More Cup Of Coffee
Low – Knockin’ On Heaven’s Door - Brilliant

Patterson Hood & Jay Gonzalez – Blind Willie McTell - Brilliant
Frazey Ford – The Times They Are a-Changin’

Those marked "Brilliant" are just on first play there isn't a bad track in sight.
