NEW BORO BAME Fans group

Hi All
I'm wanting to set up a new fresh Boro BAME (Black & Minority Ethnic) Fans group.
The reason is not because I think the club isn't doing enough it's because I believe that as BAME fans we can help our beloved Boro with the great start they have already made to go further. Also because I would love to see more BAME fans at matches. Being an Asian Female who loves football i was worried to go to matches on my own, but I bought a season ticket and went on my own....Best thing I ever did...all my fears had held me back but once I got there, I truly had nothing to fear...I would like other BAME fans of football and Boro to experience the joy (and pain!!!!) I do watching our beloved Boro. So who is with me on this? And if you would like to be part of a new group please let me know so we can get the ball rolling.

I've actually been a member for years but there was a problem with my account, so today got in touch with admin who resolved it for me but the account had to be set up as a new member. If you don't believe me ask admin they can confirm my version of events.

If you were suspicious you could have just said that...nothing wrong with transparency mate.

Thanks mate. Now as we have established that I am genuine, may be you could help me by getting the word out for me....there may even be a homemade curry in it for you, if I can get this group off the ground😁😁😁😁😁

You should probably say what your group is and how people can help you get it off the ground.

The group is not established yet and doesn't have a name. People can help by spreading the word about a new group trying to get going and need members to be part of it

Surely to spread the word about the group you'd need to set it up first and then people can direct them towards it?
 
Whatever you call the new group it`ll have the support just like the other groups do.

I`m guessing you already have a couple of close people involved, maybe try networking through your friends on maybe a WhatsApp group or create a group on Facebook.......maybe Boro BAME supporters group.

If you can get a small group together then maybe get together with the club so that you can arrange to sit together.

There`s also a regular meeting with the club, maybe someone on here, maybe an Admin can introduce you if they can verify your intent

Just building upon this, maybe reach out to the other fan groups (12th man, Rainbow Reds etc) and harness their lessons learnt as you're treading a well worn path now, and so they should be able to help direct you in the right direction. Probably also worth reaching out to supporter services who can register you as an official group within the club.

Good luck, I actually know of one other female Boro fan of Asian descent who posts on here but I'll let her out herself.
