I’ve just finished watching it this morning, Have you seen it yet and what did you think of it?
 
I thought it was great, even better than the first one. So many belly laughs and an equal amount of hiding behind my fingers moments! And those Texans?! 'The Clintons drink the blood of children'!! Wow! Those republicans really are a smart bunch aren't they?!

Yes. To see them signing about giving 'Wuhan Flu' to journalists and scientists was pretty incredible!
 
Not as good as the first but still absolutely great. I thought I was going to keel over laughing at the scene in the pregnancy clinic.

I did wonder how he got through security so easily!
Still worryingly easy.

Although Borat was shown putting on his Donald Trump disguise, the part was shot after the 2020 CPAC as Sacha Baron Cohen actually wore the makeup and costume underneath the Klan robe before interrupting Mike Pence.
 
And

Sacha Baron Cohen spent five whole days with pro-conservatives Jerry Holleman and Jim Russell without breaking character as Borat.

I never knew borat was speaking Hebrew either

Borat's Daughter in this movie is actually speaking Bulgarian, the native language of the actress Maria Bakalova, and he seems to understand her perfectly. Meanwhile, the Kazakh premier is played by a Romanian actor who says his lines in Romanian. This is a recurring joke from the first movie where Borat speaks Hebrew while his producer Azamat spoke Armenian, but seemingly they understand each other. All of this to point out that American audiences can't notice the differences in foreign languages.
 
I watched it but it was sometimes uncomfortable , especially the monthly moon dance which was horrendous . I didn’t enjoy it and persevered just to watch the Guiliani clip .

In what way is it clever editing? I mean he clearly went int the bedroom and put his hand on her waist, and asked for her number, and lay on the bed and put his hand down his pants. Now I've had to tuck my shirt in many times in my lief, but I've never tried the lay down flat and put my hands down my pants and keep them there a few seconds approach. I reckon he had a lob on and was adjusting it, still the idea that this 76 year old man thinks he has a chance based purely on his position of power is, well, very Trumpian
 
There were some interesting commentaries on our modern culture, of obsessions with internet conspiracy theories that were pretty bang on.
 
Can’t say I massively enjoyed it. But I didn’t love the first movie either. I don’t really know what to believe about what’s real and what isn’t. The whole concept of Borat on the Ali G show was that it was all real footage, and that was all brilliant then.

Yes I’m sure some of the groups they visited were set up or actors - I’m sure the vagina eating arms scene must have been actresses.
 
I thought it was naff, absolute drivel. I got bored 30 mins in and fast fwd to the guiliani scene.

it might have been edited but why did he go to the bedroom with her, I wonder if he’s married?
