Netflix series recommendation needed

Just finished watching "Unorthodox" - inspired by the true story of a woman trying to break free from her restrictive environment, it gives a fascinating insight into the ultra-Orthodox Jewish Satmar community.

In fact, I was disappointed it didn't last longer and have more episodes.

Unorthodox is brilliant, but I can't believe no one has mentioned Selling Sunset yet - cheesy as hell, but difficult to stop once you've started.
 
Lillyhammer is absolutely brilliant and funny.

Just finished the English Game which is a loosely true story about Blackburn being the first working men's team to win the FA cup....worth a watxh
 
Undercover - A belgian/Dutch collaboration about major drug dealers and the cops infiltrating. Pretty decent.
Ultras is a decent Italian film about the Napoli fanatics
6 Days is a good film about the Iranian Embassy siege and our own Jamie Bell plays a good part.
Narcos is fantastic.


Breaking Bad is very good, and all opinions are subjective, but nowhere near as good as The Sopranos & Succession (both on Sky)

I really enjoyed Snowpiercer, it‘s set in a dystopian landscape, some of it is brutal, but that’s kind of the point.
In a similar vein, 3% is good, more dystopian drama but this time set in Brazil.
I also really enjoyed Dark and The Rain.

Cheers Marv, I've watched the first episode and enjoyed it, it's pretty fast paced...was just wondering if it's worth keeping going with it having 6 season's.

To be honest, we started watching it during lockdown and binged it inside a month! It was so addictive.
 
Agree with the Sinner first series was very very good unfortunately it set a standard that the second two couldn’t follow.

Ozark gets better and better but it’s so dark, everyone is miserable pretty much all of the time.

Something lighter: I really enjoy archer. Such a politically incorrect series.

And if you like trash reality TV selling sunset is brilliant . It’s very visually pleasing and if you don’t say “oh SHUT UP DAVINA” at least once, you have no soul.
 
Btw how are you getting some of these? On my Netflix snowpiercer and cobra Kai are “coming soon” I even went through a US VPN because thought they’d be released there first

Line of Duty .......... absolutely brilliant.

oh and Sunderland til I Die................ (schadenfreude :D)
 
Not necessarily a series but I watched Fear City: New York vs The Mafia last night. Would highly recommend!!
