Ain’t gonna carry any passengers, he will go in there and work out pretty quickly who’s up for the fight, the lads fannying over contracts etc or lads who have there heads elsewhere will quickly be found out with a man of his know how and experience and he will get all the lads who want to play for the club and keep us up raring to go. Let’s go Neil and do the job you were brought into do. Finally got the job he wanted.

UTB - went from dreading Saturdays match to absolutely can’t wait for it! Excited and intrigued to see the lineup
 
Is he in a short term contract? Could he be the only BORO manager to never have a support at one of his games in charge.
 
I'm the same mate. Gone from dreading it to absolutely raring to go. Dont get me wrong, I know we havent appointed Jurgen Klopp but just feel so much more optimistic.
 
no mention in the club statement of it being a temporary job.
i reckon its a long appointment.
he lives in cornwall but he can easily buy a house up here

Think so Lee, Dom from the gazette has said reasses at season end so maybe it’s a case of if he keeps us up he may stay on who knows. And that is mad when you think about it if he doesn’t get to manage in front of a boro home crowd

He’s a football manager end of !

he knows the game and unlike Pullis isn’t dogged with a four reputation his sides attack,

plus he’s a master of this league as well.
 
In the general "excitement" of his appointment whether it for just 8 games or not there is this general realisation that he may never manager us when there is a crowd in the stadium.

That would be some factoid.

Would be a bit of a shame that, especially if he does a cracking job and keeps us up. If that’s the case I think it should be upto him if he wants to stay on next season
 
On radio Tees it says he needs 11 games to achieve his goal / target . Missed what the target is but he will get 11 games in before retiring
